This is not business as usual. Significant changes within our federal agency partners are jeopardizing our ability to address urgent conservation needs across the Northwest this year.
Since 1984, nearly 28,000 youth and young adults have answered the call to service at Northwest Youth Corps. Countless alumni credit their experience as a pivotal moment in their lives, where they found direction, built community, and developed the skills needed to overcome challenges—all while contributing millions of hours of conservation service to improve our public lands and communities.
Our mission has never been political—service on our public lands is a universal benefit for all Americans. Yet, we are being swept up as collateral damage in a partisan battle that is unrelated to the amazing work we do.
In response, Northwest Youth Corps has already had to significantly reduce our planned 2025 programming, and we need your support to close the funding gap to avoid further reductions.
