Updated May 9th at noon

We are turning around the last bend in the road; this exciting voyage is only one week from the finish line…so where are the crews going for week 5?

Orange crew is staying way up in the Northern Wilds of Washington; in fact they are going either further in the Wilds forest. The crew is heading way off into the backcountry of the Wenatchee National Forest to build and maintain trail. This is a beautiful place and a cool project.

Red Crew did such an amazing job building fence for the Adam’s County Conservation district, they asked for Red crew to come back and do it again. Once again the Red crew us heading back to Southeastern Washington near the town of Washtucna to enjoy the amazing sights and stretch out a brand new fence that nobody else dares to work on.

The Yellow crew is still in the backcountry via a motorboat ride!!!! That’s right, the Yellow crew will be heading up even further along the Rogue River and will be dropped off to spend a second week building and maintaining trail for the Siskiyou National Forest.

Blue crew is heading down to the Siskiyou National Forest. Their goal for the week is to build and as many piles of slash as humanly possible to help reduce the amount and ferocity of forest fires in the region.

Graduation

Graduation ceremony start at 11:00 AM on Saturday May 17th at NYC headquarters in Eugene. Come and celebrate the amazing accomplishments  that have been made over the past 5 weeks.
