Amidst the Adventure
Somewhere in the scenic wilderness your youth will be making new friends and contributing to important conservation projects. Whether they are clearing brush, rehabilitating forests, or building new trails, they are on an adventure of a lifetime. Learn about their field experiences by calling the Northwest Youth Corps' Parent Information Hotline. The information on the Hotline is the same as the information on the website.
Updated whenever new information becomes available, but at least once a week, April through October, the Parent Information Hotline is a way for parents to hear a weekly recording of the conservation projects and Northwest Youth Corps program locations. In addition to field and project updates, you will hear information about weekend site visits. Included in the recording are detailed directions to the weekend site. This parent hotline information is the same as that on the website. Please be aware that weekend site locations are subject to change! Please check often.
We encourage you to listen to all Parent Information Hotline notices as a way to hear about the full scope of Northwest Youth Corp projects.
Please note:
- Field News Program pages are updated weekly, or change whenever new information becomes available from the field.
- Weekend site updates will be added on Fridays by 12:00 noon (if needed). Remember not every weekend is a parent weekend.
- Parents are responsible for checking to see if an update has been added which may reflect a change in the weekend site. This, unfortunately, is usually at the last minute.
