NOTE TO PARENTS FROM ADAM (EAST PROGRAM MANAGER) I need you to help us maintain a fun tradition we have here at NYC. As a parent, you get the privileged information about where the crews are going next week. However, we have a fun way that we tell them where they are going on Sunday and really hype the projects up – thus, they shouldn’t know where they are going until then. If you could help us maintain this tradition by not telling them where they are going if they call you to say hi this weekend, the staff out here on the EAST program would really appreciate that. Thank you for understanding.
FOR THEIR LAST WEEK:
Orange Crew will be heading in to the McCall Ranger District of the Payette National Forest where they will be logging out, maintaining, and building some long reroutes in the backcountry!
Blue Crew will be spending their last two weeks super-duper far in the backcountry of the Salmon-Challis National Forest where they will be brushing and logging out a long-neglected trail.
Yellow Crew will be working in the Payette National Forest with the Krassel Ranger District for two weeks, doing some backcountry work. They will mainly be doing log out, with a little drainage installation and maintenance thrown in for good measure!
Red Crew will be working in the Boise National Forest backcountry for their last two weeks, maintaining a long neglected trail.
Graduation Information
EAST TWO GRADUATION will be at Mann Creek Reservoir (the same place that the session started) at 10 am on Saturday, August 21st!
